Have a cuppa with Jesus

Recently, I spent a few days by the ocean. It was truly the time of longer sleep, enjoying nice food in great company, walking alone along the shore. On gloomy days, while on the walk, I would pick up a coffee and treat myself to a ricotta cannoli sold in the local coffee shop . One of those days I sat on the bench and thought about the Gospel of John (Chapter 21) when Jesus meets His disciples after the resurrection. It amazed me He did not criticise them for not believing in His resurrection or for returning to their old jobs. He had a meal with them on the seashore. He met them where they were- in their life story, in their reality and let them recognize Him in simplicity of His appearance and presence. I found it very reassuring and encouraging me to tell Him about my life. Jesus enters the reality of our life wherever we are. It wants to hear your story. He cares and loves you always.
