What I’ve Learned: There Is Nothing Impossible for God

“There is nothing impossible for God.”It’s a simple truth—yet one we often forget.
In our daily lives, we tend to focus on what goes wrong: the disappointments, the setbacks, the unexpected turns. We worry about things that haven’t happened—and may never happen—yet we still let those imagined scenarios shape our thoughts and emotions.
We like to believe we’re in control, but the reality is that much of life is beyond our grasp. Sometimes, we’re simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the consequences ripple through our lives. Other times, we make decisions with confidence, only to discover we were mistaken. We face challenges that stretch us beyond our limits and encounter difficulties we never anticipated. That’s the nature of life—it unfolds in ways we don’t expect, often at the most unexpected times.
Recently, I visited my family. While it’s always a joy to see loved ones, such visits also invite reflection. I witnessed their daily lives, their routines, their joys and struggles—and noticed how different their life is from mine. Not better or worse—just different.
As I reflected on this experience, I thought about the joys and challenges in both their life and mine. It’s easy to fall into the illusion that we can “fix” each other’s problems. But in truth, we can only help carry them. We can share the burden, offer comfort, and be present.
There’s an old saying: Shared joy is doubled; shared sorrow is halved. It came to mind as I considered how we support one another. We listen, we advise, we lift each other’s spirits, and we show compassion in times of hardship. We also receive support—venting, seeking advice, feeling heard and understood. It’s a mutual exchange: giving and receiving.
At the end of the day, each of us must face life’s circumstances. But as people of faith, we do not face them alone. We face them with God—His presence, His help, and His loving kindness guiding us through every moment.
Is that a sad thought? A heavy one? Not at all. It’s reassuring. It’s consoling. It’s full of hope. God helps us navigate life in a meaningful way, reminding us that we are never alone. We are always supported, always led by His love.
If I know only one thing about our God, it is this:God loves us, never abandons us, and always helps us make sense of life’s experiences. After all, “There is nothing impossible for God.” (Luke 1:37)

How very true. There is nothing impossible with God. Have a Blessed day and God bless.
