Whatever the load – trust Jesus

I like driving. Despite of some days when it is hard not to swear because of the way people drive, driving makes me relax. Driving alone creates for me an opportunity to think, pray, plan, evaluate – all kinds of things including crying, singing and laughing out loud. Last week, as I was returning home from one of the meetings, I passed the intersection Doonside Road near the shipping containers hiring place. As I was waiting for the traffic light to change from red to green, I read the words on one of the containers: “Whatever the load”. Then I saw a sign on the fence in front of that place: “Accept Jesus”. Knowing that few streets from that place there is a church, I thought for a moment about all the advertising we do these days, to attract people to various faith and beliefs. But then, when continuing my journey, I thought about some events of my life, I looked at the sign on that container and the fence differently. Jesus reassures us in many places in the Bible that He will take care of us always.
Whatever the load of our worries, sufferings, dilemma, hardship or things beyond our control – accepting His loving guidance, trusting Him – makes things possible, upside down, turned around, changed unexpectedly for our good.
There is literally nothing impossible for God. Although it is hard to believe it at times, He can do absolutely anything. Every time I experience it in my life, I feel humbled and overwhelmed by the loving kindness of God. Miracles happen today and it is not a figure of speech, it is a reality which we all can experience. How did God show you His love recently?
Oops, forgot to recommend to you to listen to Hope 103.2fm radio while you drive. You will find there some positive messages and Bible inspiration.
Have a good week.
